The Full Story

About

I started this business with a simple belief: food tastes better and does more good when it comes from nearby. After spending years learning, working, and dreaming about business ownership, I saw an opportunity to connect two parts of the community that need each other — local farms and local restaurants.

Chefs want high-quality, seasonal produce. Farmers want reliable buyers and less time off the field. Sourced exists to make that connection seamless, efficient, and sustainable for everyone involved.

What We Do

We partner with nearby farms to bring fresh, local fruits, vegetables, and greens directly to restaurants in the Boise area — delivered twice a week. No middlemen, no warehouses, no days-old produce sitting on a truck.

We keep things simple:

    •    A curated list of what’s in season, updated weekly

    •    Flexible ordering with no minimums

    •    Direct delivery right to the kitchen door

    •    Real relationships with the people who grow your food

Why Local Matters

Local produce doesn’t just taste better — it builds stronger communities. By shortening the distance between farm and plate, we reduce waste, support small growers, and help chefs tell stories with every dish they serve.

Where We’re Headed

We’re just getting started. Our goal is to expand Sourced into more cities, helping rebuild a regional food system that’s fresher, more sustainable, and more personal than anything big-box distributors can offer.

Thanks for being part of the movement. Whether you’re a chef, a grower, or someone who just cares about food — we’re glad you’re here.
